The Foley Lions JV Boys Soccer Team lost tonight in a bitter battle as both teams showed a physical poise and neither wanted to fall.
The action was fast as Foley went to work setting up nice runs penetrating the red but they couldn’t capitalize on anything made, coming from the midfield or back line.
Rodrigo Dorry came in with fresh legs going up the seam he found the ball in the air, after a corner kick was made by Rylan Harrison placing the ball on frame.
Xavier Romero stepped up after receiving a perfectly placed corner by Rylan shooting on box and tying the game at this point. Sadly this was the last goal of the night for the team.
Jr. saved more goals than he allowed, showing that his skill set in the box is one for any team to be concerned with when he is keeper..
The Foley Boys JV Team unfortunately couldn’t capitalize on the opportunities that were given to them. This was a hard one to lose, and the boys will feel the aches and pains as the pitch was relentless. .
