Meet Our Foley High School Athletic Trainers
Sean Ahonen started teaching health in 2006 and is now teaching sports medicine to all grade levels. He received his Master’s degree in Health & PE from Columbus State University while working for the Houghston Clinic. From 2000-2004 he was working with Valdosta State University Athletic Training program earning his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. Sean has been married to his wife, Cindy Ahonen, since 2005. They have three children together, Charlotte, Parker & Jaxon.
Wendy Trinh Gardner started teaching health and became a Foley athletic trainer in 2015. She received her Master’s degree in Exercise Science from The University of South Alabama while working as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for their volleyball team. In 2013, Wendy graduated from The University of North Georgia after completing their Athletic Training Program and earning her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. Wendy has been married to her husband, Tracey Gardner, since April of 2016.
